Handbells and Handchimes are great way to teach anyone to read music without all the fuss of teaching fingering, intonation, embouchure, etc. An exciting way to teach group dynamics and team concepts. Quick and easy successful performances!

The Board of the Handbell Musicians of America, Area 4 encourages schools, churches, and community organizations in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas and the Virgin Islands to develop music education programs to include handchimes. To support the development of these music education programs, Area 4 offers the loan of a three-octave set of Chimes for one academic year beginning August 1 and ending June 30. Three recipients are selected by a committee from the applications submitted by the posted deadline.
